A direct ski path leads from the Schmittenhöhe ski area, our local mountain, directly to the hotel, where you can park and store your winter sports equipment in our own ski cellar. How about a bit of tobogganing fun? Directly behind the Waldhof is the public toboggan run, which is open depending on snow conditions and also invites you to enjoy fun runs in the evening. You can hire your toboggan from us free of charge.

Indoor fun in winter

As beautiful as the winter wonderland around the Waldhof is, occasionally you want to enjoy the comforts of home. Two indoor playrooms are available for different age groups. The younger ones can let off steam in the ball pool or on the climbing tower with slide. A dedicated painting corner stimulates the imagination. On request, we will gladly provide you with the contact details of a babysitter so that you can enjoy a quiet evening for two. Teenagers are spoiled for choice: they can use the target wall, foosball, table tennis room, billiards, or our board games.
